I know I was dead for a while, I've been facing some health issues, both physical and mental, and I am finally recovered enough to give uploading stuff a shot again. I'd like to take a moment and thank everyone who I had the chance to speak to during this hiatus and for those who reached out.
Let's start from the end. After a fun, short quest, we are challenged once more to a battle by our new friend Carmine, who has a team in the seventies. I decided to go all in with Thrud, since she opens with a physical attacker and I hold enough bulk to take the hit and retaliate with a Drain Punch. This in turn sets up an entire sweep single handedly.
The ending shows that this is really an introduction to the DLC more than anything. There's a lot of things left unanswered, and I hope we find out with the second part of the DLC later this year.
My team for this set of uploads consists of Pokemon RNG’d in Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness by myself or by a friend several years ago, and then evolved to obtain either a new evolution, or a new form ie Hisui Typhlosion and Ursaluna. They were all purified as Shadow Pokemon, and so have “The Triumphant” in the title.
The non shiny shadows are from Gale of Darkness, ie Scyther, while the shiny shadows are fromColosseum. If they are from Colosseum in a Luxury Ball, then the ball had to be individually obtained from Resort Gorgeous or from Master Rank contest farming, and then traded as a held item to Colosseum. To say these are wonderful rares is an understatement.

I am only now realizing I forgot to post this, so getting it out now as well.
The final battle, at least if you have Umbrology, is extremely easy. There is some RNG involved in hoping Noel does not use Vortex, and I am in patch 1.1 for the Shadow Servant exploit. Under it, almost everything can be made null and void until Wagnas steps in and really begins to mess stuff up.
I took a split tank strategy, I had Souji be the main tank but realized the hard way that Undying will not prevent a -1 LP drain, instakilling him. Thus, I had Final Emperor on the aggro spot, while Souji had Perennial Victim.
You want to clear the leyline and begin by using Sky Drive, so that you have your shield up and target the weaknesses. Overdrive time comes, use Four Seasons. As the fight progresses, there is more and more RNG in hoping Noel doesnt mess you up.
Unit speed plays a big role here. Kongming aside, I picked the units with the highest combined str and agility so that I could outspeed the final boss even without spending a turn on Overdrive. Looking back, I played extremely defensively when I could have taken more risks, but after over fifteen wipes I chose to play it way safer. And it worked.
