This video shows the final battle for the character arc of Osvald, where they face Harvey. After a long arduous journey, Osvald finally gets to end their arc and get the happy ending they deserve… or do they?
And so Osvald becomes the mana juice sipping powerhouse that Cyrus once was in the original Octopath Traveler thanks to The One True Magic. It's worth noting that you can make it hit more times using Advanced Magic and so on, something I did not realize at the time I was filming this. Makes it even more powerful, like a Ignis Ardere that always breaks shields.
Overall, Osvald's story is the one I enjoyed the most because of how he uses mathematics to make sense out of the world, and creates better spells out of it. But the missing piece was the determination to save his daughter from Harvey, a daughter whose maternal side gave her the bloodline that once felled the great evil. The plot lines begin to unravel here.
I also snipped the mook battle immediately before Harvey as it is of little import.
