This training video for Early Morning Seminary teachers demonstrates how to help students soften their hearts and clear out the "spiritual stones and thorns" so they can become the "good ground" where the word of God bears life-giving fruit.
In this video, you will learn how to:
- Recognize the Need for Readiness: Understand that "Spiritual preparation matters—for you and for the people you teach"
- Encourage Daily Spiritual Habits: Teach students to cultivate their soil by inviting them to "Pray to find out what the Lord wants you to learn," to "Live in a way that invites His presence," and to "Repent daily"
- Foster Sincere Inquiry: Help students "Nurture your desire to learn by asking sincere questions" and to "Study the word of God with faith that He will lead you to answers"
- Open Hearts and Minds: Guide learners to "Open your heart to whatever He will teach you"
- Develop Spiritual Senses: Discover how, as learners properly prepare in this way, "they will have spiritual eyes to see and ears to hear what the Lord would have them know"
