Jesus was rushing through a crowded street on an urgent mission to save a dying girl, yet He stopped to ask, "Who touched me?". He knew that even in His haste, He could not hurry past someone with a specific need and the faith to be healed. This training video challenges Early Morning Seminary teachers to follow the Savior's example by prioritizing the immediate needs of their students over the pressure to complete a lesson plan.

In this video, you will learn how to:
• Avoid the Rush: Ensure that in your haste to cover prepared material, you do not "unintentionally hurry past an urgent need of someone you’re teaching".
• Seek Guidance in the Moment: In addition to preparing beforehand, learn to "seek also the Spirit’s guidance while you are teaching".
• Discern Understanding: Rely on the Holy Ghost to help you discern how a learner is "receiving or understanding something you have taught".
• Alter Your Plans: Be willing to follow promptings to "spend more time than you had intended on a topic" or leave some discussions for later in favor of what is most important now.
• Communicate Interest: Reflect on whether your students know you are "more interested in their learning than in completing a lesson".
