Have you ever seen a total solar eclipse? Whether you saw the 2017 or 2024 solar eclipses in person or want to prep your students for an upcoming lunar eclipse, you can engage students with phenomena, models, and tools for viewing. Explore physical and virtual models with educators from the National Air and Space Museum and leave with resources for teaching about eclipses and viewing them safely. This video is a recording of a live teacher professional development session hosted in January 2024, but the content can be used for years to come when exploring the Earth, moon, sun system with students of all ages.
