At TCW* 50: Ichiban Valiance, Current World Champion Hijo Del Reyes will do battle with BB Disco for the biggest prize the Terrordome has to offer under "Final Encounter" rules, the loser of the match no longer being able to challenge for the World Title so long as the winner reigns supreme. Because of this, a new number one contender is in need of being determined for the premiere of the forthcoming season, *51: Homecoming. In one of the main events of the Ichiban card, there will also be a four-way dance for the Fire Pro Championship where we find to of the most eligible of contenders, with strong ties to the World Title during this past season.
At *XLV: Fists of Iron Uprise, Rurouni Mutoh shocked many when he defeated BB Disco to become the Season Five Fists of Iron Tournament and earned his first-ever opportunity at Hijo Del Reyes' World Championship at the next show, Virtual Insanity. The two locked horns in a bout selected by the fans as a TLC Match, which went on to be one of the best bouts of this past season. After Del Reyes took a spill off the ladder, it seemed that it was Mutoh's night, until Hijo's wife Rebecca Diago appeared on the stage. When the signal was given, a large masked-figure in silver moved through the crowd and entered the ring. Rurouni was then taken down and powerbombed off a ladder through a nearby table by the man we now know as the Silver Jaguar. The two men have been at each other's throats throughout the second half of the season, but have yet to face each other one on one. That is, until National E-Fed Wrestling Day.
This February, on the Armbar Error Society Network, the Mad Man from Japan and the Campeon's Hired Gun will go to war, with no disqualifications, no count outs, and no holds barred for the first crack at the World Championship of TCW*'s sixth season. Can Rurouni Mutoh gain one more opportunity at our richest prize and put down the beast, or will the silver-toothed Juggernaut of Jaguars stand triumphant? Stay tuned and find out on NEWD3.
