I came up with this way of making little petals in tatting. I've not seen them done like this elsewhere.

I designed a pattern called "Mille-Fleurs" using this technique which can be seen on my blog: leblogdefrivole.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/mille-fleurs-pattern-ready-and-draw.html

The lighting varies in this video, I'm not sure why. If it's problematic, I may have to re-make it eventually. Hopefully it is still clear enough to illustrate the technique.
