The design I am working on in this video is by Jan Stawasz. The rounds are now very long so to save me from reloading my shuttle, I have decided to make the rings as self-closing mock rings instead of regular rings. This way, all the thread comes from the ball and I only needed one refill for the whole round.
Here's me showing how that round was worked.
This doily is a design by Jan Stawasz from his first book "Tatting Theory and Patterns". The thread I use is "Babylo" by DMC in size 20.
I make the shuttles I use in these videos, they are available for purchase from: etsy.com/shop/lacossette
