Here is a very quick to make tatted butterfly, useful for quick gifts, and great for finishing a bit of thread left on your shuttles too!
Here is the pattern written out:
R 8-1--1----1--1-6-2
R 2+3-1--1-3-2
R 2+3-1--1-3-2
R 2+6-1--1---1--1-8
Then tie your two threads together, making sure the knot pulls the two top rings together and cut your ends to the length you want your antennae to be!
