There aren't really any fancy tricks for this microgame, but as the speeds get very high, timing gets incredibly precise. For the earlier rounds, it's possible to simply tap and hold left at the correct time, but for faster rounds, it's required to fly down through the middle.

This TAS scores higher than the current world record by a massive 240 points! Muk is a very difficult Pokemon to get good shots of and requires extreme RNG that is only practical with a TAS. This is also not perfect and still very improvable, but getting all of the Muks to cooperate well is a nightmare to optimize. Happy with this result and it would be tough to improve.
Various notes:
-Grimers cannot leave their caves. It may be a programming oversight that Muk is capable of leaving.
-The throws themselves are quite difficult and theres only a short window you can make them for the first Grimer. It also helps if its a bit further out.
-The first Grimer cannot be animating when taking the picture, or the third Grimer wont spawn.
-Pester balls cant be too fast when trying to evolve Grimer as it cant be animating for a hit to count.
-There seems to be some kind of cooldown or unloading with using pester balls on Grimer as the last one didnt evolve after I hit it with a third. At that point however, I kept the inputs as I didnt want to have to manipulate RNG again.
-Movement and angles for Muk are very random, and its quite slow, so it takes awhile to get it into position, which is the reason for the extreme stalling. There would be times where I couldnt seem to manipulate RNG, so there may also be other mechanics going on as well.
-The third Grimer must be deep in the corner or else you cant get a good angle for the shot.
-Other factors that can affect getting a good shot is the large undulation of Zero-One, Zubats getting in the way, the facing angle of the third Muk, and the third Muk clipping into walls and losing size points.")

Unlike most of the microgames, Butterfly Stroke becomes impossible after round 33, giving a maximum possible score of 37. This is due to the initial entry not increasing in speed with the rest of the game. All inputs in this TAS are done on the first frame possible.")
