Back when I first joined the GDPS in mid 2019 ish, I decided to make a 30~ second shitty Sakupen Hell/Cataclysm inspired level that I made in definitely under an hour. I was in a voice chat with my old friend normakes and I was kinda just pretending to make one of those terrible old impossible levels Tosh would showcase in like 2016.
What I DIDN'T expect to happen was for someone else, Europa, to want to go as far as to remake and extend the original to a new top extreme. I was a bit skeptical at first, as I rly just didn't want this to be my legacy. But as I met more people in 1.9, it sorta became a part of me I guess.
After a week or so I was onboard, and decided to make the extending gameplay you see here today (Hub's part). PurplePopcorn was also assigned to decorate back when this was happening in 2019/2020, but the project fell through.
Sometime at the start of this year I made some deco in a random part myself, for actually 100% no reason at all. But I began to wonder if I could just, real quick host this and finish it as a full map. So, I then got some of my friends and some friends of friends to do some deco and then it was just done.
After finishing that version, eventually the verification got passed to Slithium, who made the gameplay much harder. Being that the level is now gonna be a literal top demon in the GDPS, I tried running through the level one more time yesterday and adding more deco/improvements onto the existing parts. So hopefully people won't be as mad when I release this right next to Iceberg being that this hopefully looks a bit better.
