Theres a very low number of points to collect in this level and because theyre all clumped together, you cant complete the level at 236 without sacrificing more points than its worth. The only skipped points is the first red coin which is far out of the way. Therefore, this score is almost certainly maxed.
The non-TAS record at this time is 30900 by Passenger87. The only gains I made are an extra Bullet Bill kill and the last red coin, as theres some expendable time when going at TAS speed.")

Unlike PC Doom and like Doom 64, Doom GBA uses different damage formulas for many of the weapons. Pistol, Shotgun, and Chaingun pellets all do 4d4 instead of 3d5, and the Fist and Chainsaw do 8d3 instead of 10d2.
Also in Doom GBA, Lost Souls have 60 HP, and I show this off in the first two clips by killing one with 4 Pistol shots and one with 12 Plasma shots.
Like Doom 64, the Shotgun does 4d4 for each of the 7 pellets, for a hypothetical range of 28-112, but because of the limitations of RNG, the true range is actually 40-100. As seen by the long waiting for RNG manipulation, getting 100 damage rolls is very rare, but it makes 4 shots against a Cacodemon possible to kill.
The Berserk still multiplies damage by 10, bringing the damage to 8d30. This means 4 Berserk punches can do up to 960 damage, allowing for a single Plasma shot to finish off a Baron. This damage difference compared to PC Doom also means a Berserk punch will always kill a Shotgun Guy and two hit an Imp and Lost Soul. A regular punch also has a 1 in 4 chance to kill a Zombieman or Barrel, instead of 1 in 8.
Its quite odd that two completely different ports used the same damage formulas differing from the original game.")

Pro Curling has some interesting mechanics to it. You can simply hold A to both buffer and automatically sweep, making execution very easy, with each sweep taking 12 frames. Many rounds are also trivial to complete by simply holding A to buffer a specific amount of sweeps. Some rounds will require performing the last sweep a bit later as the later you sweep, the less distance the stone travels.
What makes 38 the maximum score is that as the game gets faster, theres not enough time to both move the stone far enough and to make it stop in time. The round after 36 is only possible since it can be done with just one sweep, but the two rounds before and after require two sweeps and dont have enough time to stop in the ring.")
