The game was set to the easiest settings possible.

2nd Game Extension @ 5,000 Points
Goal: See what is the highest possible score for this game.
-I'm sure it's possible to make a few more points. It should be possible to make at least 40,000 points per round.
-It's not clear to me if I should slow down a bit to get more points or if I shouldn't bother with 100 points to go faster. So I did a bit of both to see the difference.
-Perhaps by analyzing the data that I list next, we could find the best way. The timing is calculated with the timer on Youtube and not precise enough to work with I think.

Notes:
-Difficulty: 3 Cars, Easy
-From round 8 you have to play against 8 red cars, which is very difficult. No wonder the highest score for this game is around 200,000 points. It looks like Namco has adjusted the difficulty level with the release of New Rally-X.
-Even the TAS has a hard time evading the red cars (32:58), except when the road is 2 cars wide.
-From around the 12th round, I didnt use smoke because it was too expensive in fuel.
-Eventually I couldnt get the 2X flag first all the time when it was too far away.
-Round 51 (33:30) shows the out of bounds glitch. As far as I know this glitch is just for fun, you have no benefit in using it because you cant go where you want.

Rally-X Arrangement is a 1996 arcade game in the Rally-X series. Unlike the other games in the collection, Rally-X Arrangement does not feature a two-player mode. In this game, the player must guide the Blue Car to collect all the flags in each area while finishing the course before his/her fuel runs out and avoids collision with the red enemy cars.
New features to this game include the addition of items usable by the player. In the game, there is the addition of a new, square and cyan colored flag that gives the player an item when they get the flag. Items provide useful help to the player, including giving the player the temporary ability to crush enemy cars and rocks, slow the enemy cars down or make them run away, etc.
Three new variants of enemy cars appear in this game alongside the original ones, with the Touring car having the ability to continuously gain speed, the Drag car being invisible from the radar until a special item is collected, and the Neo Formula cars which can emit smokescreen like the player.
The game features new challenge stages which involve the player driving in a rock field to grab yellow flags while avoiding collision with rocks which deplete the cars fuel, to reach the goal point before time runs out.
The game features 15 rounds, with each portion of the rounds having its own theme, such as a park, a desert, an Egypt-style ruin a mountain and a city. The final round involves collecting all the flags on the course and getting to the goal point of the area. The game, like the other Arrangement games also has a continue feature.

Notes:
-Difficulty: Medium Hard (factory setting)
-I try to shoot things in that order:
-The flowers give the most points but you have to run over them.
-Next are things that go ZAP! (750 points) (mostly humans)
-Windows, lamps, tombstone award progressive points if they are from the same house. (300, 375, 450, 525, 600, 675, 750 points)
-Jump (600 points)
-Others: trash can, doghouse (300 points)
-There is a limitation for how much newspaper can be in the air at the same time.
-This number is 9
-But, this number decrease by one each time you shoot a mailbox
-At the beginning of a day and for the training course, the number is reset to 9
-if you shoot 9 mailboxes, you cannot shoot anymore
-So, It is impossible to shoot the 10 mailboxes.
-I am not sure if it is a feature or a bug.
-So, you have to think of how many newspapers you want to be able to shoot at the same time.
-I think 4 or 5 is a good number be able to shoot consecutive windows
-So, the maximum mailbox you want to shoot is 4 or 5
-In the training course, you have to take a jump to replenish your stock of newspapers
-In the training course you can shoot targets that are far left, even if you cannot see the awarded score

Goal: Finish one loop of the game the fastest way possible.
It took 11:10 from the Player 1 press to the last fire that kill the last boss.
Notes:
-It is possible to fire 30 times per second, but you can only have 3 item on the screen at the same time.
-While running forward it take only 1 frame to look and fire in any direction.
-You get a substantial bonus for hitting an enemy with each shot (50 000). But you cannot shoot any enemy ninja star, thats why I use the invisibility a few times.

-Timing starts from gaining control of the marble (when the Time to finish practice text box disappears) (0:13) and ends the frame that the goal tape goes blue after crossing the finish line on the King of the Mountain level (9:41).
-I disabled the First-time messages option in the game menu. This is so as not to waste time on the first level.
-This is my first TAS of this game. I was learning the game at the same time as I was doing the TAS. Im sure there are many things that can be done to complete the game faster.
-Its far from a perfect speedrun. I didnt beat the best time which is on speedrun.com (https://youtu.be/UaeFFh-dslU). I watched this video only after completing my TAS.
-There are several shortcuts from this video that I will implement in my next TAS of this game.
-To do a real speedrun I shouldnt have made points in the 3 Pin Bonus because we lose a lot of time at the end of the bonus, but it was fun to do.
-I clocked this waste of time at 1:00. If you subtract that from my time, you get 8:28, which is close to 8:20 on speedrun.com.
-I did not saw that Jack Retro did a TAS in 7:55. Good Job, it will be hard to beat. https://youtu.be/Z404cmPCqgo
-UPDATE: Jack Retro did 1,721,750 in this video: https://youtu.be/i84Qh3SXg4w which is higher than I would have thought possible. And he (or someone) have found a way to display scores higher than 999,999, very interesting.
-When your marble becomes dizzy, the fastest way to stop this dizziness is to press the button repeatedly. The fastest you can press the button is 20 bps. Faster than that wont work.
-If you dont press the button, the dizziness can last more than 4 seconds (depending on how high you fell). Pressing at 20 bps reduces those 4 seconds to half a second.

Did you know that a zombie can walk without a torso? (5:13)
There are a few places where you can take a break as the game does not attack you. (3:59 5:30)
To play with the alternate graphics, at the stage-select screen, choose the Haunted House stage then pump the shotgun five times before the stage starts.
If I am not mistaken, it is only the zombies in the Haunted House stage that have hats.

Golgo mode
-To trigger GOLGO mode:
-After inserting money, Shoot the center of the 6 characters in the title Golgo 13 (ゴルゴ13) (There are really 5 characters but the ル (ru) need one shot for each branch)
-You should see the title flash briefly.
-Then hold down the zoom button, you should see the title change color and the message Golgo Mode in Japanese below the title.
-Press the 1 player button to start the game while holding the zoom button.
-In this mode you get the stages in random order (except 10 and 20) and there are no cutscenes. The game doesnt even tell you what to shoot since youre supposed to know the game well if you choose this mode.
Stages
-Stage 1 - The land of Sand Dust-fluttering 0:17
-GOAL: Shoot the front tire of the car
-Stage 2 - Night of the Murder Cult 0:42
-GOAL: Shoot Vigram who is a terrorist
-I got 998.2 like in the first game.
-Stage 3 - Trolling Boat 1:17
-GOAL: Shoot mafia boss Fiorio from a boat.
-I could not get a 1000 this time
-Stage 4 - The shoes of the mafia 1:45
-GOAL: Shoot the heel of the right shoe
-I found a 1000 earlier than in my other TAS (1:76 vs 2:35, 2:40)
-Stage 5 - The night before the coup détat 2:11
-GOAL: Shoot officer Grant who is planning a coup détat before he gets on the helicopter
-This time I got a 1000 earlier than in my other TAS (0:86 vs 1:03)
-Stage 6 - Towing rope 2:35
-GOAL: Shoot the Towing Rope
-Stage 7 - The hunting dog 3:04
-GOAL: Shoot the man identified by the dog
-Normally you have to wait for the dog to identify the culprit, but since the culprit is known by the game before the start of the stage, in the TAS I could shoot the right man very early.
-This time (the 4th) I got to shoot another man than the middle one.
-But I could not do better than a 998.2
-Stage 8 - Turf magic 3:31
