New York millionaire William Pembler is disappointed in his effeminate bookish son Billy. Pembler decides that the way to make a man out of Billy is to take him on an African safari. Accompanying them, however, is a villainous cousin Harry. Harry owes $30,000 in gambling debt, and when he learns that he is in line to possibly inherit the Pembler estate, he plans a hunting accident for father and son. But this safari is planned in jungle and grassland inhabited by Tarzan.
