I missed that the title for the X-2 video was wrong for a whole week.
Anyway... crystal chronicles is a strange one, it feels like a different IP with final fantasy slapped on top, maybe they were trying to do the Ivalice Aliance play and try to make another unified universe.
But even for a series so "spin-off-y" the rest of their games feel even more like spin-offs, the ones with the most connection were the two games from the wiiware.
At least the cat girl made it into world of final fantasy.
(Didn't that one conclude really open-ended? the sequel is probably never happening)
