The slow descent to madness. So I'll try to do blacksmith normally but all the other crafting lives I'll lightly cheat, for the sake of not posting 50 more hours that no one would watch, lightly as in I still need the exp from all that crafting, can't complete angler if I don't level up a lot.

I mightve gotten too into Expedition 33 and forgot to publish episodes, maybe.
Anyway, that was the game, and a horribly played boss fight. I dont think they planned for a sequel and its just normal to leave with open-ended endings, but anyway, the characters were great, the world building was dumb. That sums this game.
Theres an extra episode left.

Sometimes it looks like I break a chain in the middle and do less damage, but that was the only path I found in the RNG, any other combo and I would get wiped after that.

Right, this happened... now that Im some episodes ahead on this story, most of what started everything feels irrelevant. Like, in some other small games you can tell the big city Midgar is powered by mako, but the energy problems in this world just... existed for a while just to make the characters move?.
Wait that sounds like mako too.

It took most of the game to find, but finally... a song that sounds out of Kingdom Hearts.
Almost done, kinda.
They really did a good job the whole story leading the secret and that something else was going on, but I dont know, I was expecting something else for the reveal. Maybe it just lacked impact.

I think I already said everything I had to about ff10 when I played that one. About the soundtrack, the good songs are down in the Field Music, asides from Otherworld all the battle music is meh.
Also, Ill keep Chaos in the party, so I fixed his battle sprites but theres some jank in there.

.hack is a peculiar universe full of trauma, split among novels, animation, games where they recycle character designs again and again. It was probably influenced by something like Diablo 2 multiplayer experience. Even for the time the games feel... experimental? The gameplay can be painfully dull and hard and its so, so grindy, but the story is nice.
