The Tampa Police Department is asking the community to help identify the suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred on the morning of August 9th, 2024.
The armed suspect, seen in the video, entered the 29th Street Grocery store located at 2802 N 29th St., where he pointed a gun, threatened the clerk, and demanded money. Thankfully, the employee was not injured.
Detectives are now releasing this video clip of the suspect and asking the community to take a good look. The suspect can be seen wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering pulled over his head. He was also wearing black and gray camouflage shorts, black Nike slides, and has a noticeable scar on his abdomen. He fled the scene northbound on 29th St. on a bicycle.
As Tampa Police detectives continue to gather evidence and develop leads in the case, they ask anyone with information that could help them to identify or locate this suspect is asked to call the Tampa Police Department at 813.231.6130, or contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay by calling 800.873.TIPS (8477).
