The Tampa Police Department is investigating a hit & run that occurred on Oct 12th in the area of N. 15th St & E. 26th Ave at 4:41 p.m. At that time, the suspect vehicle, described as a possible gold Toyota Rav 4, struck a motor scooter and injured the rider.
The victim, an adult white male in his mid-20s, was transported to the hospital with serious, but thankfully non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the suspect vehicle briefly exited the vehicle before driving away eastbound on E. 26th Ave at a high rate of speed. The driver is described as a black female, approximately 5’6”, 160 pounds with long black braids, wearing a black t-shirt with white writing and blue jeans.
