Rick MacDonnell | Talking to Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell | Review @RickMacDonnell | Uploaded November 2019 | Updated October 2024, 7 hours ago.
I really enjoyed Malcolm Gladwell's "Talking to Strangers". That being said, it's a book that needs to be discussed. Gladwell bravely, or naively, or brazenly waded into some controversial waters here and I'm still trying to sort them out. By choosing to talk about the Sandra Bland case, or the Brock Turner case, or the Penn State pedophilia case, Gladwell takes a big home run swing. As much as I liked the at bat, my gut tells me he struck out. What do you think?
