Kits World | Talking About... Clash of the Titans (1981) | Film Review @kitsworld | Uploaded April 2020 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
This clunky old relic remains one of my favourite childhood movies, featuring classic characters from legendary animator Ray Harryhausen. Yes, by modern standards it is terribly dated, and the effects are borderline comical in places - but you have to watch it with less sophisticated eyes. At the time, this was a masterpiece; a jewel in the crown of "swords and sandals" fantasy, and those of us who remember being young in the early 80's still remember it with affection.
As always, these monolgues are personal, subjective, and unscripted, and have no forethought or planning beyond the initial thought, "Let's do it!"
