In the last decade, Brian Canini has gone from producing one or two comics a year to producing over a dozen comics annually, along with weekly webcomics, a triannual comics newspaper, and a few graphic novels, for good measure. This talk will go over the many methods he has utilized to be productive and maintain his sanity while being present and balancing work, life, family, and comic making. Brian Canini will discuss the skills that he has developed with journaling, making time count, minimizing sentiment, planning ahead, daily goal setting, the reward of a finished product, and the importance of taking time away from the drawing desk to let your brain and body recharge.
