Tales of Arise on Nintendo Switch 2 gets a full frame rate and resolution test across seven exploration areas and three boss encounters.
Tested on Nintendo Switch 2 using a custom frame rate and resolution analysis tool.
Exploration areas covered include Sandinus Ravine, Ulzebek, Iglia Wastes, White Silver Plains, Cysloden, Trasilda Highway and Viscint, covering a wide range of environments from open fields to dense towns. Boss battles tested include Balseph Phase 2, the Ice Wolf Leader and Ganabelt, with boss encounters typically being the most demanding scenarios for frame rate stability in any JRPG.
The resolution analysis tracks the native render resolution alongside the capture resolution and a rolling Detail line, measuring perceptual sharpness frame by frame to show how consistently Tales of Arise maintains image quality across both exploration and combat on Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
