This week we got the chance to accompany a team of scientists from the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and the team at Carolina Raptor Center to help do some pretty sweet science. My friend Dr. Roland Kays is an animal-tagging expert. They can put hi tech GPS units on birds of prey and then track them in real time. This summer they're releasing an app called "Animal Tracker" that will allow every day people to find the birds wherever they may be. When we get the details to the app, we'll release them here.
