Rando strat discovered by hambrgr187. Pretty sure it's only optimal when you don't have any keys to access the top floor, which makes this the only way to get the item on the table.
Like all Laki Jumps, while riding Laki, press c-down and c-right at the same time. You did it right if the partner menu opens while Mario jumps into the air and freezes. From here, just change to any other partner and Mario will clip through the table.
Unlike some Laki Jumps, it doesn't matter where in Laki's bobbing animation you start from, so the only timing that matters is pressing c-down and d-right on the same frame.
