This technical session will bring together regulatory authorities that are actively engaged in deploying small modular reactors (SMR) and advanced reactor technologies. The panelists, spanning newcomer countries to those with a robust existing nuclear energy program, will discuss their approaches and activities related to their preparations to deploy SMR and advanced reactor technology and their efforts to work collaboratively with other regulators to share lessons learned and best practices to efficiently license new technologies.
