For "Synth Funk I," I played the chords via MIDI using the Arturia VST plugin OP-Xa, which is based on the classic Oberheim OBX-a. I played everything live to capture the musical nuances, but for this track, I made it more robotic and precise to honor a bit of Kraftwerk's style.
01:10 MOOG Bass on "Synth Funk II" 🔊
I used a 2 OSC square patch, with one octave higher than the other and glide enabled played in a 3 octave range.
02:14 The JUNO 60 🎵
I use this one a lot when I want very direct and simple synth sounds. It's so easy to use and feels like an 'instant espresso machine' kinda synth lolz.
