ORIGINS is the official soundtrack for the Origins Gallery at the Marley Foundation Astronomy Discovery Center at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona, where Pluto was discovered. Visitors move through the gallery depicting the evolution of the universe, from the Big Bang to life on Earth. This music plays there every day.
My first ambient album. Recorded on analog synthesizers, without a click track, in single takes.
The timing of this release feels remarkable. On April 1, NASA astronaut Christina Koch launches to the Moon on Artemis II. Her track "Always" played in her head during her record-breaking spacewalk aboard the International Space Station. Now she is going to the Moon.
