Since 2012, the Gladstone Enrichment through Music (GEM) initiative has brought Queensland Symphony Orchestra musicians together with local students for specialist workshops and the rare thrill of performing side-by-side in large ensembles. It’s hands-on learning that lifts technique, builds confidence and fosters teamwork across schools.
