In Part 1 of this series, I go through the process of servicing the way cover seals on SYIL CNC mills.

This video covers removing the way covers, taking the sections apart, removing the old seals, cleaning the seal channels, and installing the new replacement seals into the covers.

The basic process applies across multiple SYIL machine models, including:

I show the actual way covers up close, how the seals fit into the channels, and the steps I use to get the new seals installed correctly.

Installing the replacement seals
