#178 In this video I start looking at the various types of losses that occur on a transistor used in switching applications. Some of these losses will always be there but others are application dependent. Regardless, when trying to improve the efficiency of a switching circuit, either a power supply or an amplifier, its important to first understand where the various losses are coming from.
