Swing that Jazz is a jazz piece I wrote for a film I was working on. This piece presented new challenges for me to overcome as a composer as it is actually my first ever attempt at writing any kind of jazz piece, let alone jazz band. I am extremely thrilled with how it turned out and I hope you like it too. If you listen to the music closely you will notice that throughout the piece, the piano and brass ensemble are constantly competing with one another for dominance. In this back and forth both get chances to make statements through solos. Which side comes out on top is completely up to the interpretation of the listener.
I do not own nor do I claim to own the artwork used in the video. I merely thought it fit the music well.
