This is a performance off of my first masters recital of No Feathers on This Frog by Dusan Bogdanovic.

Dusan Bogdanovic is a Serbian born American composer and classical guitarist. He is known for molding classical, jazz, and other ethnic musical styles into his dynamic and rhythmically mesmerizing music. No Feathers on this Frog showcases Bogdanovic’s knowledge to utilize Balkan and middle eastern idioms and nuances within his music. The piece features constantly changing meter with a dance-like and improvisatory feel. The title of the piece is rather peculiar and has something to do with evolution in the curious way that some animals evolve to have feathers and others do not.
