This 2D Hack N Slash pixel platformer by game creator WuzzyWizard is a blast. The gameplay is smooth and easy to get a feel for, the mechanics are functional, meaning that you can actually get better at the game, and the visuals are pretty solid. The music has a nice little pump to it, and the game offers several subtle features that really make it pop, such as time briefly slowing down as you smash through a plate glass window, or the ability to slice bullets in half as they shoot towards you, sending the two pieces sailing in opposite directions. 45 minutes flew by, and I can easily see losing yourself in the action packed platformer for hours at a time.
The game can be found on Itch.io and I highly recommend you give it a try.
