Recipes:
Sourdough Pancakes:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3 T sugar
dash of salt
1 cup sourdough starter
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
2 large eggs
2 T melted butter (or avocado oil)
1 T vanilla
Mix until combined. Ferment in fridge overnight. In the morning, take it out and fry.
Roll Kuchen:
1/2 cup sourdough starter
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients well. Ferment in refrigerator overnight. The next morning, roll out the dough on a floured surface. Cut into strips with a little slit in each. Fry in lard (or your choice of oil) until golden brown.
