Swanage Railway ran its normal peak service with two steam during the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations over the long UK bank holiday 2nd-5th June.

The engines ran was SR U class no.31806 back with its own tender that a few years ran with its sister small engine no.31874 and SR Bulleid pacific Battle of Britain class no.34072 257 Squadron.
