In this video, I discuss how Black women can navigate racial stress, workplace toxicity, and today’s overwhelming social and economic climate with clarity and strength. I explore insights inspired by Dr. Curley Most’s powerful work along with my own lived experiences to validate your emotions and honor the resilience we inherited from our ancestors. You will hear reflections on identity, faith, community, and healing practices that support mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
I highlight the importance of safe relationships, rest, and intentional self-preservation for Black women who are often expected to carry the weight of the world. This conversation also uplifts the role of joy, praise, and creativity as revolutionary acts that restore the spirit. Together, we look at how hope, vision, and gratitude help us remain grounded in chaotic times. This video is designed to remind you that you are seen, supported, and built to overcome.
This segment was originally part of the First Friday Night LIVE for October 2025.
