Hey all - doing a review for my survivaljunk.com website. Are you in need of a compact, portable, durable and cool looking lantern? The Goal Zero Lighthouse 250 (or 400) is an awesome option. It's got a really nice bright LED light that will last for hours on the lowest setting. You can charge it either by plugging its USB cord in, or hand crannking it - 1 minute of hand cranking will give you 10 minutes of light on the lowest setting. It's also suitable as a USB power hub, so you can plug your phone or other USB device into it and juice it up. Lastly, it's got a red emergency ring lighting that you could use for signalling if you were in an emergency.
Overall, it's a really cool addition if you're into survival gear, camping, or even just having around the house in case of a power outage.
