My bumblebee dart frogs (Dendrobates leucomelas) are over 9 years old, and while they have produced tadpoles successfully in the past, I thought their breeding days were probably over…until I saw the male carrying a tadpole on his back. This species of dart frog shows some interesting paternal care. Meet their new tadpole!
