Porcellio laevis isopod morphs in the hobby include ‘How Now’, ‘Orange’, ‘White’, as well as localities like ‘California Mix’. I have successfully crossed ‘How Now’ with ‘Orange’, now the F1s have produced offspring! Some of them may have the pattern and lighter markings of ‘How Now’ with the background orange color, a cross Derrick Niehaus successfully made some years ago. He called it ‘Colby Jack’.
Porcellio laevis is a hardy and active pet isopod, one of the best pet isopods.
