Is the Support class in Battlefield 6 really just Assault with unlimited ammo... or does it serve a much bigger purpose?
After exploring the Assault class in the first episode of this series, it's time to look at Support and ask a different question:
- Once Assault creates the opening, who's supposed to keep it open?
In this video, I play the Support class the way Battlefield describes it. Instead of chasing kill streaks or using the class as a hybrid Assault build, the focus is on revives, ammunition, teamwork, and keeping the squad in the fight long enough to complete the objective.
This is a discussion about why Battlefield's class system exists, how Support acts as a force multiplier for the squad & why decision making often matters more than mechanics.
Support doesn't create combat power.
Support preserves combat power.
That's the discussion.
