Battlefield 6 Season 3 is finally here and today we’re talking about Railway to Golmud: The redesigned version of the classic Battlefield 4 map.
After jumping into Conquest for the first time, I immediately noticed this wasn’t just a copy-paste nostalgia remake.
The map feels bigger, louder, more open and much more in line with the large-scale Battlefield chaos a lot of us have been waiting for.
Yes, we're gonna talking about:
- Railway to Golmud’s redesigned layout
- The changes from Battlefield 4
- Vehicle and infantry shit
- Even a little comparison to other maps, like Operation Firestorm
- How the redesign changes combat approaches compared to battlefield 4
- And Why this map reminded me why I fell in love with Battlefield in the first place
We’re here for the vibe, the chaos, the squad gameplay and the good times that Battlefield does better than almost any other franchise when it gets things right.
Season 3 is off to a strong start and if this is the direction Battlefield 6 is heading, I’m very interested to see what happens next with naval warfare in Season 4.
