This is one of the many clones of the Superman the Escape flying coasters at many of the Six Flags parks in the United States. This one was built by Bolliger and Mabillard (B&M) from Monthey, Switzerland. According to Wikipedia, it was the first Flying coaster in North America. RCDB.com lists the coaster as being 2,759 feet long, 106 feet high, having two inversions including the worlds first Pretzel Loop inversion, a top speed of 51 mph, and a total ride time of two minutes. RCDB.com also says this Superman Ultimate flight coaster is the only one in the Six Flags chain to have a dual loading and unloading station platform with two switch track segments. This ride opened here on April 6, 2002 and is located in the Cotton States area of the park.
