Screen Brief had the chance to speak with the writer of DC Studios' "Supergirl", Ana Nogueira. Ana has previously been a playwright, actor, and signer. She is the screenwriter of Supergirl, and is also writing the DCU Wonder Woman movie, currently being produced by James Gunn and Peter Safran, as well as writing the DCU Teen Titans movie.
In this conversation, we spoke about her writing process, including her approach to translating the comic book "Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow" (by Tom King, Bilquis Evely, and Matheus 'Mat' Lopes) to a screenplay for the film. We also discussed what it's like being part of the DC Studios writing team, working with James Gunn, and her excitement for her next project at DC Studios, "Woman Woman".
