October 2025. A first look at Swift's brand new Sprite Alpine 4DB. New for the 2026 season, the Sprite Alpine DB is one of the best family caravans you can buy, thanks to a light weight and a comparatively low price. However, be aware that this low price is achieved by the omission of some features, so there is no stabiliser hitch, no wheel lock receiver, no aerial, and no stereo.
In a market that is currently lacking in family caravans, the Swift Sprite Alpine 4 DB is a breath of fresh air. Old timers like me think it should have been called the Sprite Musketeer, as it features the layout of a 1980s Sprite Musketeer. This family-friendly caravan layout features a dinette at the front which converts to a spacious double bed, and then there is a single dinette at the rear with a fold-up Pullman Bunk above.
