In this video we build The Smallest Village Breeder in Minecraft. It lets you control 100% how many villagers you want. 1, 3, 18 ... Just press a button and wait. And it never wastes any food, it always uses exactly 2x12 carrots per new villager. It's resource and lag friendly.

UPSIDE: You have reliable and fully controllable breeding. On press of the bottom = one villager. No more. No less. Every time. And you can preorder any number you wan’t; say you want 10 villagers just pres the button 10 times and wait. It’s small. In fact it’t the smallest automatic breeder in Minecraft. And because it's small you can easily dress it up and make it fit into your worlds building style. It's resource friendly; only uses exactly 2x12 carrots per new villager.
It should work for Minecraft 1.15, 1.16, 1.16.5 and 1.17
DOWNSIDE: It’s more work than just throwing down some beds and randomly tossing bread or carrots at a couple of villagers.
RATES: Infinite villagers - but only as many as you order :-)
DISCLAIMER: This villager breeder is not fully self-sustaining like the breeder that ImpulseSV or LogicalGeekBoy have designed, as it does not have farmland connected to it. But that's also what makes it very lag friendly - you will never have a bunch of villagers waiting in a hole. And you really don't need much farmland as it only uses exactly 2x12 carrots even time you order a new villager.
