The various Marisa titles created by Double Cluster have been fairly memetic in the Touhou fandom since their creation. As I already did a Let's Play of Mega Mari, I figured that it would be interesting to return to the even more difficult Super Marisa World, which is full of Super Mario references in its bosses.
However, I still have PTSD from playing through the game years ago, so I convinced three members of the Bakashop Quartet to do a blind race of the game with some assistance from me.
Will there be a winner? Or will there just be survivors?
Or will there be any survivors?

This isnt wholly necessary when playing the game casually, but I wanted to showcase an early example of how to work the alchemy system in the players favor. Using Heal Herb and Wonder Grow as starting points, its possible to create an item loop by using the two base items to create a Cure Jar, then use that Cure Jar and a Wonder Grow to create a Yugdore Water, then create another Cure Jar with Heal Herb and the newly-made Yugdore Water.
Alongside the easy money trick available early in the game, I showcase two item loops with the first being great for a few Alchemy Items we have available (Holy Evergreen, Eite Liquor, and Red Crystal) and the second being all well need for pretty much every Mana Item in the game.
One thing I found after recording the video is, once I transferred the Mana Item traits onto the Heal Jar, I could use Holy Evergreen with the stat boosting reviews in another recipe in case I needed to transfer those over to something again.
Between this and recording the next main episode, I got all of the reviews on all of the available items I could, maxed out our current Mana Items, replenished all the readily-available elements in Eden, and obtained a little spending money.

Time for my first seed of a new Randomizer from a game that I thought I knew more than I did. So yeah, theres a lot of salt.
But thats more entertainment for you guys.
Be warned, though, this ones long.
It also starts off with those who joined in co-comms also rolling and running their own seeds, but recording ran so long that they moved on to other projects, so theres some unusual overlap. But I dont mind as this would have had a lot of empty commentary otherwise.

One may think our troubles are just beginning as we enter the Flooded Prison, but just getting the ability to dash ends far more troubles in the long run as the increased movement speed alone is one of the biggest breaths of fresh air in the game (especially how early it unlocks compared to Oath in Felghana).
But our other troubles arent over as we cant really breathe underwater, so we have to find a way to deal with that.
And, upon another encounter with Epona- Oh, Thank God we dont have to right TWO of those things!

Things are already heating up in the Guilty Fire as Miuscha channels her inner Lilka and messes up a teleportation spell to end up in the middle of an enemy-infested room. Fortunately she gets her wish to be saved by Hugo in this route but it really does no good (especially as Im pretty sure she ends up with Rico in the long run).
But thats a drop in the bucket of important events as the first really big one is coming up.

Lots of back and forth as we gather the info we need on how to undo the Knights petrification curse and the only thing thats really different is not needing to first get the Dreaming Idol from Dino.
We do, however, still have to actually get the Mantid Medallion, but at least we can take out our frustrations on Pictimos and-

Except for the fact that I managed to roll crap seeds for all five of us.
