This is a video of me beating the Monty Mole in the cannon without F.L.U.D.D in Pinna Park, Episode 2: The Beach Cannon's Secret. By luring Bob-Ombs up the stairs right next the Monty Mole and waiting for them to explode, you can defeat the Monty Mole without using the traditional spray-throw method.
For bonus entertainment, one of the Bob-Ombs blew up and didn't hit the Monty Mole; however, the lasting effects of the explosion made a Bob-Omb that he held over his head explode, damaging him.
Note that, as far as I know, this doesn't work in Noki Bay. The reason for this is the Bob-Ombs have no way of getting high enough to actually damage the Monty Mole. Also, as an Easter Egg, if you look underneath the Monty Mole's cannon in Noki Bay, you can see some of the Bullet Bills he used in Pinna Park.
