Well, Nintendo squeezed out one last Ninji Speedrun for the year, so here I am again. This was a pretty fun level. During my recon run, the level felt much bigger than it actually ended up being, but that tends to be the case with most of these.

This level had me doing something I've never done in either Mario Maker before, which was dual wielding the dash buttons. In many early parts of the level, I'd hold Y to keep running, while occasionally nudging X to spit fire. It felt neat once I got more used to it.

I probably could have gotten a slightly better time (maybe by a second, at best) if I'd managed to find a way to clear the ice blockade and the rest of the level more efficiently. You can practically see the panic when I realized I missed the last Goombud near the end.

Including the recon run, I only completed a total of three full runs within the ~2 hours I spent on this, going from the recon time of 1:39.496, to 0:38.483, to this.

Also, don't be fooled by the unusually high rank, this Ninji run only started like a day ago.
