Here's a video showing off a fairly simple hack that adds color to the original Super Mario Land for Game Boy, as well as changing the appearance of some graphics--though not perfect and at times a tiny bit glitchy, there's no denying the results are pretty neat, and it might be worth trying it out until a much better hack becomes available, akin to Super Mario Land 2 DX. (Already exists as of the time this description was edited, but at least this video will let you know how the old color hack used to look!)
