Since we did something super meme-y and upbeat last week, its time for a darker and more somber thing to balance out the mood for a spooky October!
Im sorry to say Ive never played any Nier games, but I love Platinum Games to death so I had to give Automata some love! That coupled with the fact that Ive heard so much good about this games visuals, story, plot, and especially the music and I knew I had to make a cover from this OST sometime.
Luckily theres a lovely piano collection for Nier: Automata, and once again the godlike transcriber themrzakid had a transcription available for the famous opera boss battle music A Beautiful Song from this piano collection. I know the color of this arrangement is a bit different from the action-packed boss battle, but personally I kinda like how this arrangement is more somber and mellow to tell the sad story of the robots.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my cover of the Piano Collections version of A Beautiful Song from Nier: Automata. Next week I got another famous somber VGM piano piece, and theres plenty of spooky covers coming up soon for Halloween time!

This classic piece was actually a special request from dedicated Patron Cameron Hochberg! A while ago I asked my Patrons (who have been supporting me for almost 2 years now I think o_0) what pieces theyd want covered, no boundaries, and so he said Cohens Masterpiece. At first I had never heard of the piece, but then I listened to it and never believed Id be able to play it. Over the course of the summer, I rallied myself to slowly and painfully learn it, and much to my surprise my fingers suddenly got the crazy energy to play it like Cohen would like (I hope).
I hope you all enjoy my rendition of this crazy piece of classical VGM piano literature, even if there are no exploding pianos at the end ;-; And if you want a request to be done for you one day, do consider helping me on Patreon! Heres the SEASON FINALE for Year 4 of DS Music Piano covers yall! Sadly, this is the last piano video I had ready for yall before summer started and I had to go to an engineering internship ;-; So for now, this is the end of my weekly piano vids.
I wanted to something with an end credits sort of feel for yall, so I thought what better way to tie all of it up than with this classic, epic Zelda tune! I combined some of the Staff Credits from Skyward Sword along with the classic tune Ballad of the Goddess (which is what most of the Staff Credits is anyway) touched with some bits of Zeldas Lullaby (since thats what Ballad of the Goddess is anyway) and spiced up with some DS-style flair.
Finally, its time for the sad farewells for the year. Thank you guys sooooo much for getting me to 5,000 subscribers and 1,000,000 views, I never thought this wouldve been possible for me only 4 years ago when I started making random piano covers of Wynncraft music just for fun. Oops, here comes more Final Fantasy...
Havent done anything from Final Fantasy XV in a while (ever since my Apocalypsis Noctis cover), but Ive always been a fan of the music direction of this game. After familiarizing myself with the game a bit more a while back, I thought that this melancholic theme would be great to play for you guys!
Also coincidentally, I happened to watch the FFXV livestream that happened two days ago. If you didnt hear, they cancelled like 3 out of 4 crucial story DLCs and gave us stickers instead :/ So while the life of this game may be coming to an end, I appreciate this game for starting to get out Square Enix out of the hole of Final Fantasy Hallway Simulators and pushing the series a few steps in the right direction for future titles.
